Former Uber security chief gets probation for covering up data breach

Former Chief Security Officer for ride-hailing service Uber, Joseph Sullivan, was sentenced to three years of probation and a fine of $50,000 for attempting to conceal a 2016 data breach in which hackers accessed tens of millions of customer records.
