Hackers increasingly target journalists and media outlets

New research from Proofpoint has revealed that advanced persistent threat (APT) groups are increasingly targeting journalists and impersonating media outlets to gain access to sensitive information and sources, manipulate news, and deceive public relations and other industry professionals.
