Russia could use Kaspersky to facilitate cyberattacks in Europe, German warns

Germany’s upper-level federal agency, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), has recommended users of Russia’s Kaspersky antivirus software switch to alternative applications over the fears that Russia could use the antivirus software firm to facilitate cyberattacks on IT infrastructure in NATO countries and the European Union (EU).
