SEC sues SolarWinds, CISO for alleged fraud amidst cybersecurity lapses

The U.S. SEC has filed a lawsuit against SolarWinds Corp. and its chief information security officer, Timothy Brown, accusing them of deceiving investors by concealing cybersecurity weaknesses during a substantial cyberattack targeting the U.S. government.
