Tshwane University of Technology suspends deputy vice-chancellor over data breach

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has taken action against Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Bhekisipho Twala in response to a significant data breach, which occurred on December 17, 2023, resulting in the theft of “hundreds of thousands” of records.
